DISCLAIMER:
Unfortunately, no new series had been announced in the making of this campaign but hopefully, you enjoy it anyway! I thought it was best to notify you now before hearts were broken.
POSTERS
When waiting for Public Transport, you are essentially counting down until it arrives. Therefore these posters will be displayed at bus stops, train stations and on the tube so that people can have something to do rather than just watch the world go by!
Whilst contestants on the show only get 30 seconds, anyone who interacts with these posters gets a time limit of until their next bus arrives.
By scanning the QR code, players get a chance to compete with others at the same station and in more built-up areas where there are digital billboards, you will be able to physically interact with the poster.

RADIO:
The purpose of using Alan Dedicot, who is best known for being the lotto reader, is so when people hear him calling the numbers, people will run to grab some paper to write the numbers down, later realising it's and ad for Countdown. With pen and paper in front of people, this may encourage them to work out the Countdown problem leaving them wanting more.
This radio ad would be most efficient on a Wednesday or Saturday night.
CAMPAIGN VIDEO
Christmas... a time EVERYONE counts down to! Whether it's because of the presents and festive traditions or because you know it's the time of year your bank balance gets nearer £0... we all countdown to it. It's also the season the famous Advent Calendar makes an appearance so this was a perfect opportunity!
Tell me... what could be better than chocolate AND a Countdown conundrum DAILY!?
ADVENT CALENDAR
On average 100% of people countdown to Christmas with an Advent Calendar.
*This statistic is by no means true*
So I decided to promote a new series with an Advent Calendar. The series would have to come out early the following year in order for it to make sense.
Each day people can not only win chocolate but also get a chance to solve some Christmas Conundrums!
Below is the version I created to test out. Right is a digital mockup of what the calendar would look like.
